D-Series Dairy Hot Water Heater
Wilson offers the versatile “D” Series Dairy Hot Water Heater, available with or without an attached header tank to suit your specific requirements.
For installations with a separate header tank, it’s essential to maintain a maximum head pressure of 6 meters, measured from the base of the storage unit to the top of the open vent pipe. Choose from a variety of sizes to meet your needs, with both models equipped with main and booster elements.
The booster element plays a crucial role in restoring heat lost between morning and evening milkings. It can be manually controlled or operated via a time switch, ensuring optimal efficiency (consult with your electrical contractor for setup).
Element sizes are customisable based on an 8-hour heating cycle, tailored to meet the specifications of supply authorities.
To safeguard against aggressive water supplies, the Wilson Dairy Hot Water Heater comes fitted with a sacrificial anode in the heating zone. Regular inspection and replacement of the anode before erosion are vital. Additionally, Tip to Toe anodes are available upon request for enhanced protection.
